Bend breaks attendance record, so does WCCBL
2008 WCCBL attendance statistics
Bend led the WCCBL in total league attendance (27,795) and in league average (1,263) and the Elks also posted the highest single game mark of 2,463 fans. When adding the August 12 play-off game to its total, the Elks also led the league in total attendance of 42,562.
The Elks had outstanding support in the community. Cap Night, sponsored by the Bank of the Cascades and the Center, Bob Thomas Auto Night, the San Diego Chicken Night, $2 Tuesday's, Cessna Night, and Sunriver Employees Night all contributed to achieving its record attendance. The Barbeque deck also was well utilized by company events throughout the season.
